I'd hoped to have played 18 holes of golf this morning. However, after driving off at 7.30 - it soon became apparant that something was amiss. My front left tyre was flat. I have no jack (and let's be honest wouldn't have been able to change the damn thing anyaway. So, I went home swore profusely for a few minutes before entertaining the mad notion of driving to Craigielaw on a flat tyre -so desperate was I for a round of golf.
Decided that Kwik Fit was best option - but of course thay didn't open until 9. Was there for an hour or so as they reied to get the wheel off.....finally met up with Jim, Andrew & Willy for 9 holes - only to get beat on the last hole. Oh happy day.
