Jake's blog

Online diary - started in February 2007 - but I've gone back (with the aid of photos) to pre-children days in 2002, so that we have a complete record of their lives online. This should mean that we can't forget both the best and worst bits of parenting. Hopefully, in the years to come this should resolve any disputes about who said or did what in a family argument. One day they may even thank me for this record of 1st steps, words, tantrums and heaven forbid boyfriends/girlfriends.

it's a girl!

A bit of a shock when she finally came out (after about 18hrs of labour). I made them check again to make sure it was a girl...but the midwives had done this a few times and were fairly confident....
