bank account

Poppy has opened a bank account. (Well I opened the account for her). This, I am sure will be something that she will be eternally gratefulk for - especially when the day comes (which isn't far off) when all 3 of our children have more savings than their parents (currently this applies only to Grace- but Joseph isn't far behind). To be fair - this isn't hugley impressive when you consider the meagre amoun of cash that we actually have in savings. This thought process then leads you to worry that you ought to have some savings - and that wonderful cycle of worry and depression has started. Joseph (for it was him that I took, and not Poppy) had a great time in HSBC - wondering around as if he owned the place, entertaining the staff - and he was in remarkably good form on the bus in both directions.

Jo & Andy came round in the evening, once the kids had gone to bed. It was good to catch up - we've not seen them in ages - but I guess we have been busy getting used to a new arrival. Hopefully, in a few weeks we'll have some sort of (albeit depleted) social life once again....
