Bank holiday today - but nursery is open. How good is that?! Joseph and Grace go yo nursery after a night where Poppy behaves herself pretty well....but Joseph was a complete nightmare. He ended up sleeping with me (or rather rolling about in bed with me) in the spare room from 3-4am. He finally got to sleep but Grace woke us up at 6.45 - who was so excited that Poppy was here.....Finally got the little toe-rags off to nursery by 9 - and took Poppy with Grace so that she could show off her new baby sister. Other kids not impressed - but all the female staff went gaga. Forgotten how much women love newborns. Mental note to take Poppy on my own to places with lots of good-looking women.
Enjoyed a quiet day with Catrin and Poppy - the only journey we all had was in the car to my work and then to Blackhall M&S. Catrin was mortified that Poppy has now been corrupted by commercialisation and the big bad world.....well that didn't take long.
Midwife visited in the morning and we gave Poppy her first bath which I taped for her wedding day. Phil & Fi popped round later on with the boys.
