Enjoyed a very civilized night - not woken by any child - but I'm keeping my mouth shut in case it all goes horribly wrong. But whisper it softly...Poppy is a good baby - better than the 2 monsters that we were "blessed" with before.....Cat & I even managed lunch out at a restaurant (with our youngest sleeping next to us) at the Olive branch bistro in Morningside - and very nice it was too.
Poppy is like a little kitten - hairy and very very small - Joseph seems to have grown to giant size in the last couple of days and is almost as heavy as a small rhino. When he falls over (fairly frequently) the ground shakes.
It's only now dawning on me that this is our family complete. Walking back from nursery with 3 children was very special - and a sign of things to come. 5 is a good number. A big sister and little sister is sure to give Joseph plenty of grounds to have middle-child syndrome.
